L’Impérial gives their companion the treatment once reserved for sovereigns: a centred pose, rich drapery, an ornamental frame and royal portrait lighting. Their name and birth year sign a majestic design inspired by French neoclassical painting.
The LE FAVORI heart on the chest. On the back, their pet’s portrait becomes a contemporary royal artwork. The contrast makes you smile; the beauty of the design is taken very seriously.
Their pet’s portrait
They are neither dressed up nor turned into a character. Their face, gaze and body shape remain those in your photo. Our studio composes the setting around them, integrates their name and birth year, then checks every detail before printing. The frame changes centuries, not their pet.
The design is available in colour only: golds, fabrics and the shades of their coat give the portrait its depth and character.

The right photo
A phone photo works perfectly: choose natural light, a clear, unobstructed face and a view at eye level. An older photo also works if the face is clear. Dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, birds, rodents and reptiles are welcome. For a more unusual pet, send us its photo.

Choosing their size
Compare the measurements with a sweatshirt that already fits. Width is measured flat, from one side of the chest to the other; it is not chest circumference. Ages and heights are indicative guides.

Wash at 30°C inside out with similar colours. Air drying is recommended. Iron inside out, never directly over the print; do not bleach or dry clean.

You don’t need a perfect photo, just a clear one.
Three points are enough. A phone photo works perfectly, and an older photo does too if it is clear.
Light
Daylight near a window, or outside in the shade. Flash flattens shapes and makes the gaze harsh.

The royal portrait is frontal by design, and a photo from above makes your companion look smaller.
A clear, unobstructed face
No hand, lead or toy in front of the head, and no motion blur.

How do I choose my child’s size?
The hoodie is available in ages 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14. Check “Details and children’s size guide” near the personalisation button for indicative height, garment length and flat width. Compare them with a sweatshirt that already fits.
Which photo should I send?
A clear, well-lit image, front-facing or slightly to the side, with the face unobstructed. Avoid flash, backlighting, photos from above and anything covering the head.
What if the portrait doesn’t look like them?
We rework the design. If the photo won’t allow a faithful result, we contact you before any printing. If the piece you receive is defective, we offer a full refund for the affected piece with no return required, once the defect is confirmed.
Why is there no preview before buying?
An instant result would inevitably be approximate. We prefer to create the design after ordering, check it and revise it if needed.
Will I be able to approve the design before printing?
There is no routine customer approval step. However, every portrait is individually reviewed and revised if the likeness or quality falls short of expectations.
What gives L’Impérial its character?
The ornamental effect relies on the textures, drapery and shades of the portrait. Every detail is kept to give the design its depth and heritage feel.
Which animals do you accept?
Dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, birds, rodents and reptiles are welcome. For a more unusual pet, send us its photo: we will confirm whether it can produce a faithful portrait.
What does the €59 price include?
A 280 g/m² children’s hoodie, your pet’s personalised portrait with their name and birth year, a human review before printing and delivery in France and Belgium. Each piece is created and printed to order.
Can I return a personalised piece?
Our pieces are personalised from your photo: no returns for a change of mind when the piece matches your order. If a defect is confirmed, we offer a full refund for the affected piece, with no return required. Your statutory rights remain unaffected. See our returns policy for the terms.
What do you personalise on L’Impérial?
We integrate your pet’s portrait, name and birth year into the design. The ornamental frame, drapery and graphic direction remain those of L’Impérial.
Are the same designs available for adults and children?
Yes. World Tour, L’Impérial, L’Académie and Vice City are available as adult and children’s hoodies. You can choose the same design and personalise each piece with a photo of the same animal. The garments are ordered and personalised separately, each at its own price.
