They are neither dressed up nor turned into a character. Their face, gaze and body shape remain those in your photo. We compose the setting around them, then check every detail before printing. The frame changes centuries, not your companion.
How it works

Nothing goes to print without a human review. If the likeness is not good enough, we revise the design. If your photo cannot produce a faithful result, we contact you before any production.
The right photo
- Natural light, without flash.
- A front-facing or three-quarter view.
- A clear, unobstructed face, with no hand, lead or toy in front of the head.
A phone photo works perfectly. Dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, birds, rodents and reptiles are welcome. For a more unusual pet, send us its photo: we will confirm whether it can produce a faithful portrait.

Size, care and delivery
The fit is unisex. Choose your usual size for a regular fit, or one size up for a looser look. Wash at 30°C inside out with similar colours; never iron directly over the print.
Free delivery in France and Belgium. For Switzerland, shipping is shown at checkout; duties, taxes and any import fees remain the recipient’s responsibility. Allow 7 to 10 working days from ordering to delivery, including design, review and printing.

Three points are enough. A phone photo works perfectly, and an older photo does too if it is clear.

The royal portrait is frontal by design, and a photo from above makes your companion look smaller.

The design is printed into the fabric. Washed inside out, it lasts as long as the garment.

Which photo should I send?
A clear, well-lit image, front-facing or slightly to the side, with the face unobstructed. Avoid flash, backlighting, photos from above and anything covering the head.
What if the portrait doesn’t look like them?
We rework the design. If the photo won’t allow a faithful result, we contact you before any printing. If the piece you receive is defective, we offer a full refund for the affected piece with no return required, once the defect is confirmed.
Why is there no preview before buying?
An instant result would inevitably be approximate. We prefer to create the design after ordering, check it and revise it if needed.
Will I be able to approve the design before printing?
There is no routine customer approval step. However, every portrait is individually reviewed and revised if the likeness or quality falls short of expectations.
What gives L’Impérial its character?
The ornamental effect relies on the textures, drapery and shades of the portrait. Every detail is kept to give the design its depth and heritage feel.
Which species do you accept?
All, without exception: dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, birds, rodents and reptiles. If your pet has a face and a gaze, we can create their portrait.
