Their face, gaze and distinctive features remain those in your photo. Our studio integrates them into the colour crest with their name and birth year, balances every element and checks the likeness before printing. The setting changes; their pet stays themselves.

The right photo
A phone photo works perfectly: choose natural light, a clear, unobstructed face and a view at eye level. An older photo also works if the face is clear. Dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, birds, rodents and reptiles are welcome. For a more unusual pet, send us its photo.

Choosing their size
Compare the measurements with a sweatshirt that already fits. Width is measured flat, from one side of the chest to the other; it is not chest circumference. Ages and heights are indicative guides.

Care and delivery
Wash at 30°C inside out with similar colours. Air drying is recommended. Iron inside out, never directly over the print; do not bleach or dry clean.
€59 including delivery in France and Belgium. Allow 7 to 10 working days from ordering to delivery, including design, review and printing. For Switzerland, shipping costs appear at checkout; duties, taxes and any import fees remain the recipient’s responsibility.
If the piece you receive has a defect or the portrait doesn’t look like the pet, contact us: we will remake it at our expense.

We create, then print
Our studio creates and checks the design, then sends it to print in Europe. Allow 7 to 10 working days until delivery.
Free delivery in France and Belgium. Switzerland: shipping shown at checkout, import duties and taxes payable by the recipient.

Every design is checked before printing. If the likeness isn’t right, we rework it. If the photo won’t allow a faithful result, we contact you before production. If the piece you receive is defective, we offer a full refund for the affected piece with no return required, once the defect is confirmed.

You don’t need a perfect photo: their face simply needs to be clear and visible.
Three points are enough. A phone photo works perfectly, and an older photo does too if it is clear.
Light
Daylight near a window, or outside in the shade. Flash flattens shapes and makes the gaze harsh.
At their eye level
A photo from above makes them look smaller. Get down to their level to preserve their proportions.
A clear, unobstructed face
No hand, lead or toy in front of the head, and no motion blur.
Our studio checks every image before printing and contacts you if yours cannot produce a faithful portrait.

How do I choose my child’s size?
The hoodie is available in ages 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14. Check “Details and children’s size guide” near the personalisation button for indicative height, garment length and flat width. Compare them with a sweatshirt that already fits.
Which photo should I send?
A clear, well-lit image taken at eye level, with the face unobstructed. Avoid flash, backlighting and anything covering the head.
What if the portrait doesn’t look like them?
We rework the design. If the photo won’t allow a faithful result, we contact you before any printing. If the piece you receive is defective, we offer a full refund for the affected piece with no return required, once the defect is confirmed.
Why is there no preview before buying?
An instant result would inevitably be approximate. We prefer to create the design after ordering, check it and revise it if needed.
What do you personalise on L’Académie?
We integrate your pet’s portrait, name and birth year into the crest. The structure, ornaments and graphic direction remain those of L’Académie.
Why is this design only available in colour?
The deep tones, golden details and contrasts of the crest give L’Académie its character and depth.
Which animals do you accept?
Dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, birds, rodents and reptiles are welcome. For a more unusual pet, send us its photo: we will confirm whether it can produce a faithful portrait.
What does the €59 price include?
A 280 g/m² children’s hoodie, your pet’s personalised portrait with their name and birth year, a human review before printing and delivery in France and Belgium. Each piece is created and printed to order.
Can I return a personalised piece?
Our pieces are personalised from your photo: no returns for a change of mind when the piece matches your order. If a defect is confirmed, we offer a full refund for the affected piece, with no return required. Your statutory rights remain unaffected. See our returns policy for the terms.
Are the same designs available for adults and children?
Yes. World Tour, L’Impérial, L’Académie and Vice City are available as adult and children’s hoodies. You can choose the same design and personalise each piece with a photo of the same animal. The garments are ordered and personalised separately, each at its own price.
